On the day of check in/check out, you have full use of the island.

Transportation to and from Garden Island

Complimentary private ferry service is available from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. daily.  Special arrangements can easily be made for earlier/later service.  A $10.00 charge/gratuity (per trip not per person) is payable to the ferry operator for service between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. There is always a ferry operator on-site 24 hours a day.

To request a ferry ride to or from the island, please call the main number: 802-425-2791. One of our helpful operators will pick you up on the mainland or meet you at the island ferry landing within 5-10 minutes to take you to the mainland. 

AMENITIES

In your Cabin 

All homes are equipped with standard cookware, utensils, blankets, pillows, and microwaves. WiFi is included in all cabins. 

Towels, bed sheets, pillowcases, soaps, shampoo/condition and limited paper products (paper towels, toilet paper) and trash bags are now provided!

TVs are not supplied.

AROUND THE ISLAND

Enjoy the use of grills, guest boats (e.g. rowboats, canoe, kayak), and access to meadow and trails throughout your stay! 

POLICES

Pet policy

Pets There is a limit of 2 pets per cabin. We ask that you keep your pets off furniture and beds, accompany them at all times and be respectful of other guests by picking up after your pets and having awareness of other guests comfort level around your pets. There is an additional $50 per pet cleaning fee ($75 for Maple rental). A Garden Island staff member may ask you to leash your dog for any reason (this could be based on the comfort level of other guests at the time of your stay). If you are having an issue with another guests pet, please reach out to an on-site staff member.

ADDITIONAL

A smoke free environment; Smoking is not permitted inside the cabins or on the porches.

Capacity limits are strictly reinforced; violations will result in you and your guests early departure without refund. Please reach out to our rental coordinator to discuss what cabin best fits your needs.

If you have any special requests (e.g. boat mooring), please let us know. 

PAYMENT INFORMATION

See invoice for payment due date. We accept payments by check or credit card. In the event of cancellation, rental fee is non-refundable within 30 days. 9% Vermont rooms & meals taxes will be charged for any rental less than 30 consecutive days.
